Overview
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for defining and executing the organization’s technology vision, digital transformation, and innovation strategy. This leadership role will ensure the effective use of technology to support operational excellence, asset reliability, safety, and customer experience across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s overall technology and digital strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise systems, operational technologies, and digital platforms supporting rail operations, maintenance, and customer engagement.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, data analytics, and automation to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
- Oversee the management and modernization of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology-driven opportunities that improve performance, reduce costs, and enable growth.
- Ensure technology solutions support regulatory compliance, business continuity, and information security standards.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team capable of delivering complex, mission-critical systems.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and government stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for digital transformation and IT performance, ensuring measurable value creation.
- Stay abreast of global rail technology trends and best practices to maintain a competitive and future-ready organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, preferably within large-scale, asset-intensive, or transport infrastructure industries.
- Proven record in developing and executing enterprise-wide technology and digital transformation strategies.
- Strong understanding of operational technology, cybersecurity, and data management in critical infrastructure settings.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing multimillion-dollar technology programs and diverse teams.
