Brizap Inc., a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary of Brizwave Inc., is the fintech arm driving innovation in the global payments space. Our flagship product, Brizap Pay, is designed to simplify financial access and cross‑border transactions through smart, secure, and scalable technology. 

Why We’re Bringing in a CTO Co‑Founder 

Brizap is entering its implementation phase and seeks a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Co‑Founder to guide the technical direction of the company. This role is crucial in architecting and building the fintech infrastructure that will power Brizap Pay’s growth, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance. 

Role & Responsibilities 

• Define Brizap’s technical roadmap, architecture, and build‑vs‑integrate strategy. 
• Lead the design and development of the payment infrastructure, APIs, and data systems. 
• Design integrations with regulated financial and digital-asset infrastructures (without compromising compliance or data security). 
• Establish system security frameworks, encryption standards, and fraud-prevention logic. 
• Build and mentor a high-performing, mission-driven engineering team. 
• Collaborate with the Founder/CEO on the product roadmap, partnerships, and investor engagement to align technology with business strategy. 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

• 7+ years in fintech, financial software, or blockchain technology. 
• Expertise in APIs, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data security. 
• Experience working with or designing digital-asset infrastructure such as wallets, stablecoins, or blockchain-based payment systems. 
• Understanding of crypto-compliance frameworks (AML, KYC/KYT, and global regulatory standards). 
• Demonstrated success in scaling secure, multi-currency or multi-platformed payment systems. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead from concept to execution as a founding engineer. 
• Passion for building transformative, AI‑powered financial technology. 

Equity & Commitment 

This is a Co‑Founder role offering equity ownership between 10%–25%, determined based on commitment and contribution level. Equity will vest over four years with a one‑year cliff. Compensation may include deferred or hybrid arrangements until funding.
