Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Coverage Trader to join our Singapore office. This role involves working night shifts to support our 24/7 trading capabilities, ensuring seamless execution and monitoring of high-frequency trading strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in HFT trading, application support, or production support, with a strong interest in financial markets and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage live trading systems during night shifts to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Execute and oversee high-frequency trading strategies, ensuring alignment with market conditions and firm objectives.
• Provide real-time support for trading applications, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Collaborate with trading, engineering, and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Analyze market data and trading performance to identify opportunities for strategy optimization.
• Maintain detailed logs of trading activities and incidents, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Escalate critical issues promptly to senior traders or technical teams for resolution.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in high-frequency trading, application support, or production support within a financial or trading environment.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading systems, and HFT strategies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting trading applications, with familiarity in Linux/Unix environments preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, particularly during night shifts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Rust, or SQL) is a plus.
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to a 24/7 trading schedule.
