Smart City Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Certified PMP is preferred.
• 20+ years’ experience on large scale infrastructure/utilities projects involving design and construction works with knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices.
• 5 years of experience in Qatar/GCC region.
• Adequate experience in Smart City Technology Deployment, Command & Control Centers Transformation and City Data Centers Upgrade and Implementation.
• Proven Technical experience in deployment of IoT, IIoT, Integrated BMS, ACS, Command and Control Centers in size of a city or a district with mixed use (residential, retail, hospitality).
• Solid track record in Data Centers and networks design and Implementation.
• Proven experience in the implementation of large-scale Telecom projects.
• Ability to interpret complex contract documents including plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Ability to make decisions and recommendations on significant engineering problems, and review drawings, specifications, and installations for constructability.
• Demonstrated previous PMCS experience.
• Advanced negotiation and presentation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to identify potential problems and propose solutions.
• Ability to team build, organize staff and prioritize work.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in engineering.
• Certified PMP is preferred.
