Job Title: Technical Lead – ChatBot
Department: Business Solutions & Applications

About the Role:
The Technical Lead – ChatBot will provide end-to-end technical leadership for ChatBot-related projects, enhancements, and integrations across the bank’s digital channels. This role is critical to delivering seamless, secure, and scalable conversational AI solutions that enhance customer experience and support the bank’s digital transformation strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, customization, deployment, and integration of enterprise ChatBot platforms.
Integrate ChatBot SDKs with mobile applications (iOS/Android) and multiple channels (website, WhatsApp, etc.).
Develop and maintain robust integrations using Java/J2EE, Python, Node.js, REST/SOAP APIs, Microservices, and messaging protocols (MQ, TCP/IP).
Ensure compatibility with relational (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases; strong hands-on experience in SQL & PL/SQL required.
Support all testing phases: SIT, UAT, Security, and Performance testing—including preparation of test strategies and architecture documentation.
Apply DevOps practices using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and containerization platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
Lead agile ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning), manage project tracking, and ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with vendors, infrastructure teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure compliance with banking architecture and governance standards.
Provide post-implementation production support and proactive monitoring.
Stay current with emerging AI and conversational technology trends to recommend innovative enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
7+ years of IT experience, with proven expertise in ChatBot platforms, system integration, and enterprise application development.
Proficient in Java, Python, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL/PLSQL.
Strong experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of banking systems architecture, security protocols, and audit/compliance standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
