Role Purpose
The Data Scientist will play a key role in developing advanced data solutions that power Dentsu media’s next-generation products and capabilities. This role will design, test, and deploy machine learning models, build data integrations, and provide actionable insights to optimize media investment, audience intelligence, and performance delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to analyze audience behavior, campaign performance, and media efficiency.
- Design and build data integrations across CDPs, DMPs, clean rooms, and identity solutions to unify client and media data.
- Support the creation of predictive and prescriptive models for programmatic bidding, budget optimization, and outcome forecasting.
- Partner with product managers, strategists, and analytics leads to translate business challenges into data science solutions.
- Collaborate with the measurement and analytics teams to connect insights into dashboards and client deliverables.
- Identify and test new AI/ML solutions to drive optimization and innovation across programmatic, retail media, and performance platforms.
- Ensure all data use aligns with compliance, privacy, and governance standards.
- 3–6 years’ experience as a Data Scientist/Analyst , ideally in media, ad tech, or digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and common ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with CDPs, identity resolution, clean rooms, or ad tech data flows is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of programmatic media, digital KPIs, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with any data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and ability to support dashboard integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. Master’s preferred.
