We’re looking for a skilled backend developer with hands-on experience using Nakama to power multiplayer or social game features.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain backend services using Nakama and Node.js.
• Implement real-time multiplayer, matchmaking, leaderboards, and social features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented JavaScript code.
• Collaborate with front-end and game teams to integrate Nakama features.
• Optimize performance and ensure server reliability under load.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience developing with Nakama (open-source game server).
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with REST and WebSocket APIs.
• Good understanding of cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to deliver on a contract basis
