Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of the IoT application
- Integrate APIs and manage data flow between IoT devices and the app
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless device-to-app communication
- Implement security best practices for data transmission and storage
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear project records
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer, ideally with IoT or connected device applications
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and RESTful API integration
- Strong understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL)
- Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSockets) and device communication
- Knowledge of security best practices for web and mobile applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage part-time hours effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
