Full Stack Engineer (Remote, Part-Time)

You will play a key role in supporting the ongoing development and maintenance of our IoT app, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of the IoT application
• Integrate APIs and manage data flow between IoT devices and the app
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless device-to-app communication
• Implement security best practices for data transmission and storage
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Document technical specifications and maintain clear project records
  
  

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer, ideally with IoT or connected device applications
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and RESTful API integration
• Strong understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSockets) and device communication
• Knowledge of security best practices for web and mobile applications
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage part-time hours effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
