Full Stack Engineer – Freelance (AI Platform)

Join a pivotal project as a senior-level Full Stack Engineer, leading the development of an AI-driven platform designed to identify and document supply chain risks in real time. This role centers on architecting and building both backend and frontend systems for a new MVP, including a hybrid data ingestion pipeline, NLP-powered risk classifier, automated alerting and reporting, Stripe payment integration, and a user-facing dashboard. The platform aggregates data from official Singapore government sources and is targeted for deployment within 8–10 weeks. You will work closely with the founder, making key technical decisions and shaping the platform’s direction, with the potential for long-term leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop backend systems using Python (FastAPI), with a focus on scalable, asynchronous processing
• Build and maintain a hybrid data ingestion pipeline to aggregate and normalize data from multiple government sources
• Implement NLP-powered risk classification and automated alert/reporting features
• Develop a secure, user-friendly dashboard using React or similar frameworks
• Integrate Stripe for payment processing and manage PDF report generation
• Ensure robust database design and management with SQL/PostgreSQL (JSONB)
• Collaborate directly with the founder to define technical strategy and deliverables
• Oversee deployment and ensure timely delivery of the MVP within the project timeline
  
  

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in full stack development, with strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI), SQL/PostgreSQL, and asynchronous processing
• Expertise in NLP techniques and web scraping
• Solid frontend development skills, ideally with React
• Experience with payment gateway integration (Stripe) and PDF report generation
• Familiarity with Singapore government data sources is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial mindset for fast-paced, 0→1 product delivery
• Ability to work independently, make key technical decisions, and communicate effectively in a remote setting
