Main goal

The Stadium Administration Assistant supports in all activities and processes relating to stadium inspections and stadium approvals for UEFA competitions, ensuring that UEFA matches are held in stadiums that meet the necessary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the stadium approvals process for assigned competitions, sourcing, organising and checking stadium information and entering, correcting and validating data in TIME, UEFA’s online information exchange platform
  • Organising stadium inspections: identifying stadiums, appointing inspectors and Football Operations specialists as required, performing administrative tasks relating to travel and expenses, writing and proofreading inspection reports and ensuring the necessary follow-up ahead of the next UEFA match
  • Providing support to stadium inspectors (information, advice, documents, etc.) and organising workshops as required
  • Supporting the Stadium Operations Supervisor with the stadium approvals process for UEFA men’s club competitions
  • Liaising with UEFA’s competition managers on stadium matters and regulations
  • Keeping match officers and the relevant UEFA units up to date on stadium-related information and issues
  • Circulating stadium-related information, reports and statistics as required
  • Supporting and facilitating the coordination of stadium-related projects
  • Supporting colleagues in the Football Operations unit as required

Requirements

Experience

  • 2 years in event organisation, sports management and project coordination
  • 2 years in a professional football environment

Languages

  • English / Proficient
  • Fluency in other European languages would be an asset

Other

  • Detailed working knowledge of the professional sports environment
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Experience in major event planning and delivery
  • Extensive experience of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management tools
  • Proven communication skills and ability to deliver high-quality reports and presentations
