Job Title: Chief Trade Finance Sales Officer

Payment: allocation in $SRC token + commission from successful trade financing

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Head of Trade Finance to lead sales, business development, and operations for our trade finance division. You will be responsible for onboarding SME exporters, importers, and trading companies at scale while also engaging institutional and decentralized lenders. You will manage end-to-end operations related to trade financing workflows—spanning due diligence, risk scoring, deal structuring, and post-trade activities on our AI + blockchain-powered platform.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Sales & Business Development
Drive global sales strategy for onboarding SME exporters, importers, and supply chain partners.
Identify and pursue partnerships with banks, alternative lenders, fintechs, and DeFi protocols.
Lead outreach campaigns, trade events, and investor-lender roadshows to promote $SRC Ecosystem.
Work closely with marketing to position $SRC as a go-to trade finance platform for SMEs and capital providers.
🔹 Lender & Client Onboarding
Build a robust pipeline of verified SMEs and trading companies needing working capital.
Engage both TradFi (banks, NBFIs) and DeFi lenders for liquidity provisioning.
Develop client onboarding funnels integrated with KYB, risk assessment, and deal generation.
🔹 Operational Management
Oversee the end-to-end trade finance operations: invoice validation, buyer confirmation, credit scoring, token issuance, disbursement, and repayment.
Work with product, legal, and tech teams to refine workflows and regulatory compliance.
Monitor the execution of tokenized trade deals and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
🔹 Strategic Growth
Identify new market opportunities across Africa, MENA, Asia, and Latin America.
Collaborate with the Head of Risk and CIO to ensure scalable and risk-adjusted growth of financing operations.
Contribute to strategic initiatives around product-market fit, token utility, and smart contract integration.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in trade finance, supply chain finance, or structured finance.
Proven track record in B2B sales or institutional partnerships in fintech or banking.
Strong understanding of trade documentation, open account trade, invoice financing, and forfaiting.
Familiarity with blockchain, DeFi lending protocols, and tokenization is a strong advantage.
Experience working with SMEs in emerging markets is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup.
Preferred Attributes
Existing network of SME exporters/importers and/or institutional lenders.
Multilingual capabilities or regional expertise (e.g., GCC, ASEAN, Africa, or LATAM).
Experience working with trade digitisation technologies such as eBLs, smart contracts, and AI risk models.
Understanding of regulatory frameworks in trade finance and digital assets.
