As our founding Cloud Engineer, you'll architect and own the entire cloud infrastructure powering our marketing intelligence platform. You'll build the foundation for our product and data operations, reporting directly to the CTO with complete ownership of our Google Cloud environment. 

Your mission: create a secure, scalable, and highly automated platform from scratch. This infrastructure is the critical foundation that will enable our recently funded global expansion. 

You'll design and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid feature delivery and use Infrastructure as Code to build a resilient system that handles massive data volumes. Beyond maintaining systems, you'll make architectural decisions that directly shape our product's performance, security, and scalability.

You will report directly to our co-founder and CTO, Samuel Backman. Samuel has been building software since 2012, progressing from developer to technology director at companies like Qvik and Mavericks Software. He provides the deep technical expertise key to building a scalable and robust product, and is focused on creating an engineering culture of ownership, excellence, and pragmatism.

Technical Excellence:

• Deep Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Proven experience architecting and managing secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure on GCP.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: You live and breathe IaC. Strong, hands-on experience with Terraform is essential for building and maintaining our cloud environment.
• CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines from scratch. Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins is highly valued.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Solid understanding of Docker and experience deploying and managing applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Security-First Mindset: A thorough understanding of cloud security principles and practical experience implementing them, including GCP IAM, VPC service controls, secret management, and network security.
• Monitoring, Logging, and Observability: Expertise in setting up and managing comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Google Cloud's operations suite, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health and rapid incident response.

• Competitive Base Salary: €48,000 - €66,000 per year, based on your experience and impact. Your specific salary within this range will be determined by your level of experience and alignment with our internal compensation framework, ensuring fairness across the team.

Our goal is to build a company with a valuation exceeding 100M€ in the next four years. For a foundational team member, an equity stake of this size could be worth well over 1,000,000€.
