About the role:             

As a Senior C# Developer, you will work on the further development and stabilization of our software tools – especially the compiler, simulator, and associated front-end tools. You will contribute best practices in code quality, testing strategy, and architecture and help make our existing code base maintainable, testable, and team-friendly in the long term. In close collaboration with the Scrum Master, hardware team, and other developers, you will help distribute knowledge and mitigate technical risks.

Responsibilities:

• Further development and refactoring of existing C# codebases (compiler, simulator, tools)
• Development and maintenance of automated tests (unit and integration tests)
• Code reviews and mentoring of younger developers
• Participation in build and CI processes (GitHub Actions, testing pipelines)
• Development and maintenance of MVVM-based frontends with Avalonia or WPF

→ Focus on clean architecture, reusability, and performance

• Collaboration with hardware and C++ teams on interface integration

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in C# / .NET (ideally in the area of ​​tools, compilers, or simulation)
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture and front-end frameworks such as Avalonia, WPF, or WinUI
• Clean software design, testing culture, and a clean-code mentality
• Experience with unit testing, CI/CD, Git, and code reviews
• Optional: Experience with C++ or Rust is a plus, but not required
• Enjoyment of structured, interdisciplinary collaboration
