Product Manager – chemicals – Dublin (Hybrid)


Location: Dublin, Ireland

Work Type: Hybrid (2–3 days in office)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role


We’re looking for a dynamic Product Manager to manage, optimise and grow ChemPoint product lines in accordance with supplier investment and objectives and ChemPoint’s strategic aims.


What You’ll Do


  • Demonstrates job competencies and remains accountable for performance in area of responsibility.
  • Acts as liaison and primary ChemPoint contact for suppliers, understands and leverages supplier partnership opportunities and packages and presents marketing & sales data to set and manage supplier expectations.
  • Analyse sales results and market information pertaining to product lines and provides workflow and direction to marketing team via campaign strategy.
  • Builds marketing plans and coordinates internal strategies for product lines that incorporate supplier and internal objectives and ensures alignment by effectively implementing & monitoring sales execution, providing product line training and offering first line support on pricing issues.
  • Gains team advantages and opportunity momentum by observing and orienting prior to making decisions and taking action on problem solving and solutions development; shows interest in industry and global trends; exhibits some versatility when interacting with customers, suppliers, and outsourced relationships; and effectively conveys ideas and concepts via multiple modes of communication.
  • Aligns behaviour and actions with ChemPoint culture by showing up with energy, promoting and adapting to change, initiating and promoting innovation, leading with courage, and having fun.
  • Travel requirement up to 20%


What You’ll Bring


  • Proven experience in B2B sales or chemical/technical sales (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to lead, innovate, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of pricing, marketing strategy, and customer management.
  • Proficiency in business tools and IT systems.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
