Department overview:

The IT Development department is responsible for development, testing and implementation of IT systems within our organisation.

In order to reinforce the team in place, we are looking for an Analyst Programmer on a permanent contract.

Your main tasks will be:

• Develop and maintain programs and interfaces on the iSeries system, including our main Transfer Agency system and other business applications, using ILE RPG, SQL and JavaScript
• Develop and maintain programs and interfaces to handle financial data flows, using ILE RPG, SQL and domain-specific scripting languages (E2GEN)
• Support ongoing projects on defining technical solutions for new processes and system enhancements
• Produce and maintain the documentation and diagrams of the solutions developed

Job requirements:

• Studies in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with iSeries/AS400 development (ILE RPG, XML and SQL) is required
• Experience with development on other platforms and languages is a plus (COBOL, JavaScript)
• Specific knowledge of SWIFT and financial STP processes is an asset
• Understand the banking business and financial data flows
• Excellent knowledge of English – French is considered as an advantage
• Good analytical skills
• Open-minded and service-oriented
• Team player, well organized with attention to details.
