IT Security Consultant (German-speaking is Mandatory)

Client Overview:

A leading banking institution in Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to support a major IT migration and infrastructure build-out project. This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in cyber security and architecture, with full-time onsite presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on cyber security architecture during the IT migration and infrastructure/application build-out.
• Develop and implement security principles, architecture frameworks, and standards for the target environment.
• Collaborate closely with IT and project teams to ensure security is embedded throughout the transformation.
• Participate in onsite workshops and coordinate with stakeholders across business and technical units.
• Ensure compliance and alignment with internal and regulatory security requirements.

Required Profile:

• Proven experience as an Information Security Consultant, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Strong background in cyber security, IT architecture, and security governance.
• Hands-on experience supporting large-scale IT migrations and infrastructure deployments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in German – essential for effective collaboration with business units and stakeholders.
• Willing and able to work fully onsite in Luxembourg.
