Cyber Security Expert

Location : Luxembourg

Languages : English, (French or German will be considered an asset)

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee security aspects within projects, including architecture reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments.
• Actively participate in the local cybersecurity program and contribute to team activities and processes.
• Perform day-to-day cybersecurity (BAU) operations.
• Collaborate with the SOC and global teams on international security initiatives.
• Provide security-related information and guidance to business teams and clients.
• Support audit and compliance activities, acting as an auditee when required.
• Assist IT and business teams in adopting and maintaining secure practices.
• Offer cybersecurity support to internal service lines.

Profile

• Between 3 and 6 years of relevant experience in IT security.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cyber/information security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR tools.
• Solid understanding of core IT fundamentals, ideally including:
• Software development
• IT support
• Networking
• Databases
• Cloud environments
• University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Information Systems Security preferred.
• Strong interest in enhancing cybersecurity skills and staying current with industry trends.
• Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarize and explain complex topics.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); French or German considered an asset.
