Machine Learning Engineer – AI-Driven SaaS Product – up to EUR 85K – Utrecht / Hybrid

My client is a start-up that will soon start building an AI-driven SaaS product. The product provides knowledge workers a high degree of automation consequently these teams have much more time for human interaction. This leads to much more value creation within the organizations. Many repetitive and manual actions are automated by this AI-driven SaaS product. But this is only the beginning of the many valuable features that will be built. A more groundbreaking example is the ability to filter conflicting statements in huge amounts of documents.

The enormous attention for AI (ChatGPT) has paid off for my client. Of course, my client also integrates the possibilities of ChatGPT into their products. But my client was already working on their vision before the AI hype (blue print was drawn back in 2018). This resulted in a very successful scale-up, and this new start-up is a spin off.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will strengthen a team of Designers, Backend and Frontend Developers plus fellow ML / Data Science specialists. You have an above-average interest in not only Data Science but also bringing AI models into production. The team is mature and they built high quality features in a fast paced environment.

You bring:

• An enthusiastic personality, you are good with people and like to help! And you thrive well in a transparent and honest company culture.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, LangChain, RAG or related fields.
• A determination to excel at bridging the gap between experimentation and production, turning research insights into robust, scalable solutions.
• Drive experimentation and continuous optimization to ensure LLMs are safe, reliable, and effective in production.
