Chief Technology Officer (EU)

We’re looking for an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and ensure our systems and products meet EU MiCAR and DORA regulatory standards.

As the company’s senior technology leader, you’ll shape our architecture, oversee compliance readiness, and serve as the primary technical contact for regulators and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and execution of the company’s technology roadmap in alignment with MiCAR compliance standards.
• Define and enforce technical governance frameworks, cybersecurity policies, and operational resilience plans.
• Represent the company in regulatory discussions, articulating our system architecture, information security, and incident response mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
• Build and empower a high-performing technology team, ensuring on-time, quality delivery of critical projects.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize our technical infrastructure to support growth and regulatory expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in technology leadership roles; experience in blockchain, crypto, or fintech is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of EU MiCAR and DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) frameworks.
• Proven track record in system architecture, cybersecurity, and regulatory-driven technology design.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to represent the company in high-level regulatory or board discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
