As a Product Designer at Migros Online, you design digital products that make grocery shopping simple and convenient for millions of customers. You collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Analysts, and UX Writing to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility – crafting products that people trust and enjoy using.

What impact do you have?

  • Own the design work in your product team – from understanding problems to delivering improvements that create measurable value
  • Explore user needs and opportunities through continuous qualitative and quantitative discovery
  • Define and design flows, interactions, information architecture, and UI design for app and web; prototype and test to validate ideas early
  • Balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility to create value for customers and the business
  • Contribute to product direction and prioritization with evidence, insight, and sound reasoning
  • Evolve the Design System with other designers to ensure consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across products
  • Strengthen the Product Design Team’s culture through co-creation, early feedback, and open sharing of your work and learnings

What do you offer?

  • Education: Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college) in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX Design or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience: 5 years in product design for digital products ideally e-commerce
  • Several years of experience in product design for digital products
  • Proven experience in turning discovery insights into actionable product and design decisions
  • Hands-on experience working in empowered, interdisciplinary product teams with Product, Engineering, and Data
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma), design systems, and component libraries, including AI-assisted prototyping
  • Experienced in making design decisions informed by qualitative and quantitative research insights
  • A collaborative, open personality that values co-creation, shares work early, and contributes to a culture of feedback and learning
  • Strong communication skills in English and German
