About the Role

The Project Manager for Finance Transformation plays a key role in preparing, executing, and successfully implementing the new ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA) across four Management Companies of Lindt & Sprüngli. This role involves close collaboration with the Accounting Team to identify and translate user and business requirements into system specifications. Working in partnership with the global Project Team, the Project Manager ensures that the necessary functionalities and configurations are delivered to enable a smooth, efficient, and largely automated operation of the new ERP system.


Key Responsibilities/accountabilities

Lead the Finance Transformation for Management Companies

  • Drive the end-to-end planning and execution of the ERP implementation for Lindt & Sprüngli Management Companies, ensuring a tailored solution that meets the specific operational, legal, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Accounting, Controlling, and other business functions (e.g. HR and Treasury) to capture and document current processes, pain points, compliance needs, and automation opportunities. Translate these into detailed business requirements for the ERP system.
  • Define and shape efficient, scalable, and automated future-state processes in alignment with SAP capabilities. Focus areas include intercompany cost recharge, treasury transactions, internal project administration including cross-charges, payroll and expense handling, budget, forecast and year end reporting.

Act as Key Finance Interface in the Global ERP Transformation Team

  • Serve as the key point of contact between the Management Companies and the global ERP transformation team. Represent the business needs of the Management Companies within the global project, ensuring requirements are understood, prioritized, and implemented appropriately.
  • Coordinate cross-functional requirements for integrations with systems such as the expense module, group consolidation and reporting software, payroll and treasury systems. Ensure timely alignment of technical and functional teams for successful interface development.
  • Work on defining and enabling efficient intercompany reconciliation and matching processes. Ensure solutions support transparency, auditability, and compliance with transfer pricing and tax requirements.
  • Oversee data readiness efforts including mapping, cleansing, and transformation of financial data from Abacus and other sources. Ensure alignment with global data standards and cutover plans.
  • Work closely with the global ERP transformation management team to align timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Support risk and issue management, status reporting, and resource planning for the Management Companies’ scope.
  • Ensure the Accounting team is prepared for go-live and post-go-live operations.

Ensure a Smooth Go-Live and Post-Go-Live Transition

  • Contribute to testing strategy and execution (SIT, UAT) to validate that solutions meet business needs.
  • Support the development of training materials and internal communications.
  • Ensure the Accounting team is prepared for go-live and post-go-live operations, including hypercare support and stabilization of key finance processes.


The profile

Education:

  • Certified Specialist in Finance and Accounting with Diploma of higher education (or equivalent).
  • Project management certification is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimal 7 years of relevant experience (working in Finance project management roles in global organizations, of which 4 years in leading role)
  • Experience in steering projects and strategic implementation initiatives
  • Experience working with or within accounting and finance of management companies, holding structures, or shared service centres, with deep exposure to their financial and operational specifics
  • Superb knowledge in SAP and ERP Implementations

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of accounting and controlling processes, especially in the context of management companies (e.g. intercompany recharges, internal cost allocations, payroll-related postings, project admin etc.)
  • Familiarity with interfacing tools and systems, such as expense modules, consolidations tools, payroll platforms, and treasury systems
  • Hands-on experience with process analysis, design, and optimization in a finance context
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in English and German



The Transformation Manager is expected to start in April 2026
