What you will do:
As the Intercompany Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining global workflows, aligning with compliance requirements, and supporting the implementation of intercompany matching and reconciliation tools. You will work closely with both local and central teams to ensure processes are harmonized, compliant, and ready for automation.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement global intercompany workflows and internal controls
- Align with tax and transfer pricing teams to ensure end-to-end compliance
- Support the rollout of intercompany reconciliation platforms (e.g., SAP I/C, BlackLine)
- Enable seamless integration with other Record-to-Report (R2R) sub-processes
- Act as the key contact for country-specific accounting and compliance needs
- Ensure that local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements are reflected in global processes
- Validate global solutions against local operational and compliance realities
- Provide input on local accounting practices related to intercompany operations
- Support change management, training, and stakeholder communication
- Review and approve local deviations or exceptions to global processes
Desired education, expertise, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Approx. 5 years of experience in intercompany accounting or related finance roles
- Expertise in intercompany accounting, reconciliation, and eliminations
- Familiarity with SAP I/C, BlackLine, or other reconciliation platforms
- Strong understanding of transfer pricing, tax, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of dispute resolution workflows and intercompany automation
- Familiarity with digital finance tools and transformation initiatives
- Understanding of global intercompany practices and accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Experience with process automation and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Experience supporting or leading global transformation projects
