For our international pharma client we are looking for a Senior Project Manager (m/f/d).
Take charge of a high-priority global initiative to implement a new electronic Document Management System (eDMS) on an accelerated timeline. This pivotal role requires close coordination with the internal IT Project Manager and external stakeholders—including the system vendor and implementation partner—to ensure the project is delivered within defined scope, schedule, and budget. The program spans several critical workstreams, including the rationalization and preparation of legacy DMS content, finalizing business process designs and system configurations, driving organizational change and training efforts, and overseeing integration, data migration, validation, and a successful global rollout.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including timeline, Gantt chart, critical path, budget, and milestone management
- Inspire and lead cross-functional teams, including technical consultants and business analysts, toward successful delivery
- Apply Veeva implementation methodologies and best practices to ensure project success
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Manage scope changes with appropriate documentation and stakeholder alignment
- Ensure compliance with GMP regulations and relevant industry standards
- Deliver timely and comprehensive project updates to stakeholders and steering committees
- Develop detailed project plans outlining deliverables, schedules, and resource needs
- Monitor and report on project progress, performance metrics, and financials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes
- Organize, lead, and follow up on project meetings, workshops, and governance sessions
- Use tools such as JIRA and Confluence for tracking, collaboration, and knowledge management
Required Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in software project implementation
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Proven track record in multi-year, multi-phase eDMS/eQMS implementations within GMP-regulated environments
- Strong working knowledge of Veeva Systems, including eDMS and eQMS modules
- Experience working in global, multicultural project settings
- Prior experience in CDMO environments is a strong advantage
