Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in creating highly scalable UI solutions based on microservices architecture. This role offers a unique opportunity to build new products from the ground up. You will collaborate with a highly skilled cross-functional team to enhance our core banking platform.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the design and delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
- Provide estimates and actively participate in the sprint planning process.
- Develop highly secure solutions.
- Optimize the performance of the existing codebase and conduct peer code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with the technical lead and team members to design and plan components and interaction patterns, actively participating in design discussions and decision-making processes.
- Engage in technical and architectural discussions about our front-end applications.
Qualifications and Skills
- • Experience in front-end development and knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in writing and working with REST APIs.
- Ability to collaborate with other cross-functional teams working on features for our customers.
- Familiarity with automated build pipelines, continuous integration, or continuous delivery.
- Proven experience using code repositories such as GitHub.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with UX designers and Product owners to deliver the best user experience for our customers.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality code using automated tests for unit tests and end-to-end tests (using Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
- 5+ years of experience in web application development using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with A/B testing.
- Familiarity with deploying to cloud providers and container-based distributed systems (Docker).
- Familiarity with *nix-like environments.
