Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics SaaS company operating as a division within The Home Depot (THD). Through our supplier analytics program, Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution.


The Product Manager is responsible for building software that empowers suppliers at The Home Depot to make smarter and faster decisions. The role blends curiosity, customer empathy, and analytical thinking to shape the evolution of Askuity’s supplier analytics platform from problem discovery through delivery and adoption. Product Managers work closely with engineering, design, data science, and business partners to translate opportunities into impactful solutions that drive measurable outcomes. They define and manage clear roadmaps, prioritize for impact and learning, and ensure every release enhances the customer experience. Thriving at the intersection of strategy and execution, the Product Manager connects the “why” to the “how,” serving as a communicator, collaborator, and champion for both users and the product vision.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Ownership and Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end success of product areas within Askuity’s supplier analytics platform, from discovery through delivery and adoption
  • Define and manage a clear product roadmap by identifying opportunities and prioritizing based on business impact and user value
  • Conduct market research and gather insights from internal and external stakeholders to shape strategy and align with user needs
  • Leverage retail and analytics expertise to guide strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with Askuity’s mission to deliver actionable, data-driven solutions


Cross-Functional Delivery and Execution

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, and QA to deliver high-quality products on time with a focus on usability and measurable outcomes
  • Maintain visibility into the product backlog, facilitate agile ceremonies, and ensure consistent rhythm across planning, retrospectives, and releases.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to manage requests, communicate priorities, and maintain transparency around roadmap progress
  • Champion a customer-first mindset by ensuring every release enhances experience, efficiency, and decision-making for our users

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate insights into action
  • Experience in product discovery, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to define and interpret key metrics to assess product success
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with retail analytics, data visualization, or SaaS platforms is an asset



Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Typically reports to the Product Management Manager



Travel Requirements:

  • Limited
  • Travel to corporate headquarters annually, as requested



Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.



Working Conditions:

  • Working in an office setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings


Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job


Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • 2+ years in product management or related role

Other Requirements/Assets:

  • Experience with analytics, data-driven decision-making, or AI-powered product features is a plus
  • Experience working as a Product Manager in a modern software development-based enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with extreme programming (XP) principles such as paired programming, test-driven development, and continuous deployment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Skilled in conducting user research, competitive analysis, and defining metrics to measure product value
  • Strong communicator, capable of influencing across technical and business teams
