IT Project Manager (AI / Chatbots / HRIS systems)

This hybrid Toronto-based role offers long-term project stability, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to manage cross-functional programs using platforms like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the delivery of HR IT transformation projects focused on AI, chatbot integration, and workforce technology platforms.
• Manage end-to-end project life cycles from planning through execution and closure.
• Oversee integration efforts with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or ServiceNow.
• Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to align project goals with organizational strategy.
• Work with data teams to support skills taxonomy, data mapping, and data governance efforts.
• Ensure effective vendor coordination and communication across cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project risks, scope, and budget using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Deliver stakeholder reporting and performance updates, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Facilitate change leadership and engagement in workforce transformation programs.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• + 5 years of experience managing IT projects, specifically in HR digital transformation and AI-related initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering chatbot and digital HR projects using platforms such as TechWolf, Eightfold, or Gloat.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS systems integration (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow).
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programs involving HR, IT, and business units.
• Experience collaborating with data teams on skills frameworks and governance structures.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable workforce planning.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a solid track record in risk and budget management.
