The Head of Human Resources & General Affairs is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the HR & GA function in the organization. He/She advises the Managing Director and other senior business leaders on HR matters and the relevant impact to the organization. He/She promotes the desired culture and values including a diverse and inclusive employment culture of the organization with Managing Director & other senior business leaders/stakeholders. He/She provides strategic foresight and HR insights to offer solutions in solving organizational people related issues.
The Head of Human Resources & General Affairs oversees HR initiatives, strategies, and ensures the organization practices compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the Human Resources functions and all Human Resources Initiatives/ Strategies/ Policies & programs in the organization including Hire & Selection, Employees Life Cycle, Compensations & Benefits, Rewards & Recognition, HR Operations, Payroll Operations, Employees Claims Reimbursement, Employees Relations, Office Administration & other people related matter
- Plans, designs, and develops high-impact human resources interventions and practices supporting the business including implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, and compensation
- Advise & supports senior business leaders by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions including the organisational structure to enable business strategy and support business goals
- Advocates for the growth of leadership capabilities & lead the talent agenda by overseeing the development and strengthening of the talent bench strength and leadership pipeline to build a high-performance workforce, meet succession needs and ensure business continuity and sustainability
- Articulate organisation’s rewards philosophy that includes employee value propositions, non-monetary rewards and performance based monetary rewards to motivate workforce and drive high performance
- Champions the development of a credible employer brand for the business that can aid in attracting and retaining talent
- Complies & monitor adherence to internal policies and statutory standards
- Lead HR transformation programmes to improve the processes, workforce, HR technology and operational excellence
- Review impact of HR policies and programmes on workforce performance taking into consideration priorities, risks, costs, and benefits
- Promote changes to the current operating environment that improve working relations and partnerships with stakeholders
- Work with senior business leaders and stakeholders to plan the strategies for business and risk management as a business partner by forging closer relationships and working collaboratively to add value to business and employee agenda
- Champion people-related initiatives with senior business leaders and stakeholders to promote and enhance employee engagement across the organisation
- Head of Human & Resources & General affairs also oversee the general office administration functions within the organization
- Lead the General Admin to manage and ensure smooth running of office premises and infrastructure and upkeep and maintenance of office premises
- Perform other people-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent, MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus.
- Minimum 12-15 years of relevant working experience
- Proven experience in Director/Head of Human Resources or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of human resource management principles, laws, and best practices
- Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRM software
- Meticulous, proactive, and good team player
