Our Client is an established company with offices globally. As part of their expansion plan in Singapore, they are looking forward to hire their Network Engineer NOC / Specialist to join their team.

About the job

Your responsibility involves:

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Respond to network alerts and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Conduct regular network maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle network breakfix tasks such as switch replacements, link repairs, and dark fiber restorations, coordinating with technicians to perform physical work and providing remote instructions.
• Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network issues.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve network design and performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, issues, and resolutions.
• Support and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure security measures are in place and updated according to best practices.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of network projects and upgrades.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 2 years of experience in network. Candidates with exposure to VLAN, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and OSI will be highly preferred.
