ROLE DESCRIPTION
Responsible for providing presales technical support and service to customers of the Company. Works with vendor, business practice, and sales to develop and execute compelling solution propositions for the Company, Resellers, and their End Users. Assists smaller resellers with implementation for their customers. Provide pre- and post-sales support. Ensures they are up to date on the certification requirements as required by Cyber Security vendors.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assumes responsibility for providing effective presales technical support and service to the Company's customers.
* Generate and provide customer BoQ/BoM as requested by the sales staff and business partners
* Support the efficient response to RFP/RFI
* Differentiating the Company value-add propositions through Presales engagement
* Provide presentations and demonstrations for end users on behalf of our vendors/ partners
* Establish strong, productive Vendor, Partner team alignment
* In coordination with sales staff, proactively work within resellers to position the product line and ensure comprehension of the portfolio
* Build visibility with vendors and customers to create a competitive distribution advantage for company products
* Maintain competitive awareness of vendor products and Technical product activity
* Provide product knowledge updates regularly to partners (Tech Refresh)
* Assists with technology comparison and product SWOT analysis.
* Conduct regular trainings and 1:1' enablement sessions for the partners in the region
* Maintain Certification level as the minimum requirement by the vendor.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with customers.
* Provides out-of-house training as necessary.
* Makes reseller and end user visits to stay current with product requirements.
* Resolves questions, requests, and challenges promptly and courteously.
* Obtains and conveys information as needed.
* Maintains the company's professional reputation by providing superior customer service.
* Makes follow-up calls to check on customer satisfaction with products and support.
* By weekly Webinars of Product enablement/ Tech Refresh
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relations, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.
* Provides in-house Division training as required.
* Provide monthly reports/MBOs to the Director.
* Functions as a resource for product specifications.
* Assists and supports area personnel as needed.
* Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
* Attends and participates in weekly /Forecast meetings as requested.
Education/Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering / Information Technology
* Cyber Security Product certification
* Fluent English/ Arabic is an advantage
Required Knowledge
* Cyber Security Domain experience
* Field Presales experience 5yrs+
* Experience in building BoQ/ BoM based on Customer requirements
* 5+ years of experience in a telecom, technology, or IT Distribution
