Role Responsibilities

• The SOC analyst is responsible for monitoring and responding to security events.
• You will receive, research, triage, and document all security alerts as they come in.
• This role involves supporting various security platforms and technologies, collaborating with other teams within the IT organization, as well as with internal business units and external customers or partners.
• Security events are generated from endpoints, networks, SIEM systems, threat intelligence platforms, employees, third parties, and other sources.
• While working with best-of-the-breed security systems/tools and going through a lot of training, you will improve your cyber security skills and knowledge daily.
  
  

Role Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security monitoring, incident response, or a related field.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment, with a preference for candidates who have experience in geographically distributed teams.
• Proven ability to drive measurable improvements in security monitoring and incident response capabilities at scale.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, threat intelligence systems, security automation and orchestration solutions, IDS/IPS, DLP, and other network and system monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of internet protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
• Strong track record of acting with integrity, demonstrating excellent work ethics, taking pride in delivering quality results, and continuously seeking to improve.
• Adaptable and curious with the ability to effectively communicate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 2558 – 3866 euro. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
