BMI is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to be responsible for managing projects aimed at optimizing the end-to-end GL process. This role involves overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The GL Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance financial reporting, accounting processes, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among stakeholders.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly
Establish project KPIs and monitor performance against targets.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with various departments, including finance, accounting, IT, and operations, to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or project management, with a focus on GL processes and project management with proven success in managing complex GL projects, including system implementation and process optimization.
Proficiency in project management software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and financial reporting tools.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including using lean and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Background in Manufacturing organizations is desirable.
Ability to support deployment of Plan to Fill remediation activities and Roadmap projects.
PMP certification or equivalent preferred; knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory compliance is desirable.
Accounting or finance certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.

Salary ranges from 4 300 euro gross depending on your experience.
