Oritain is the global leader in product verification, with locations in Auckland, Dunedin, London, Singapore and Washington D.C. Our vision is to be the source of truth in global supply chains and our mission is to harness science, technology and services to create a community of origin verified buyers and suppliers, protecting our people and planet.

About The Role

The Recruitment & HR Coordinator role at Oritain (known internally as the Resourcing & People Coordinator) plays a key part in attracting, engaging, and supporting talent across our growing, purpose-driven business.

As a valued member of the People & Culture team, you’ll support end-to-end recruitment while delivering high-quality HR administration that ensures a seamless, joined-up experience for candidates and colleagues alike.

Partnering closely with hiring managers and candidates, you’ll make sure every interaction reflects our culture, values, and ambition. This is a fast-paced, varied role that calls for energy, adaptability, and a genuine passion for people.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be at the heart of our hiring story- finding and bringing in the people who make Oritain great. From writing inclusive, brand-aligned job adverts to proactively sourcing top talent, you’ll build strong pipelines that keep pace with our global growth. You’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, balancing quality, speed, and candidate care to deliver a first-class experience from start to finish.

Working closely with hiring managers across regions, you’ll help define what “great” looks like in every role and coordinate interviews and assessments that are smooth, professional, and well-organised. You’ll guide candidates through each stage with clarity and empathy- from first conversation to offer and onboarding- ensuring every new joiner feels supported and valued from day one.

Behind the scenes, you’ll keep recruitment data accurate, track progress, and share meaningful insights that inform smarter decisions. You’ll also get involved in broader HR initiatives- from onboarding coordination to process improvements- championing continuous improvement and helping strengthen our employer brand at every opportunity.

Skills & Experience

You’re CIPD Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and bring hands-on experience in recruitment (agency or in-house) where you’ve built trusted relationships and delivered results at pace. You understand the full recruitment lifecycle and know how to manage multiple roles without compromising on quality or candidate experience.

You’re organised, adaptable, and detail-driven, but what really sets you apart is your communication style- confident, empathetic, and people-focused at every interaction. You build trust quickly with hiring managers and candidates alike and know how to make every touchpoint feel human.

You’re comfortable using HR systems and ATS platforms to keep things running smoothly (experience with HiBob or TeamTailor is a bonus) and confident working with data and reporting tools like Excel. If you have experience hiring for technology or commercial teams, even better- that insight will help you hit the ground running.

Above all, you bring energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for creating an exceptional people experience in a fast-moving, global environment.

Sustainability isn’t just about tackling climate change, it represents a growing conscience around our actions and the impact they have on people, animals and planet. The personal, professional and governmental move to sustainable practice is driven by a desire to change our impact on the world, but we can’t do this without knowing the certainty of our actions.

Transparency is one way of holding ourselves accountable, but for it to be effective it must be underpinned by proven traceability.

Our scientific traceability does just that. Working with Mother Nature, we help brands across fashion, food and pharmaceutical industries verify the origin and authenticity of their products and raw materials. With this verified truth, brands are empowered to make changes across their supply chain to operate more sustainably, and pass those assurances onto their consumers
