Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to join our high-performing technology team. This role is focused on building and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure to support our fintech products in the wealth management sector.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Terraform and Ansible configuration and should be comfortable working across multiple cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Automation & Management
  • Maintain and enhance Ansible Automation Platform, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform across AWS, Azure, GCP, and VMware environments.
  • Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring processes to improve efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
  • Process Management & Documentation
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and system automation.
  • Build and maintain Terraform modules to standardize infrastructure deployments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure all automation and infrastructure practices comply with cloud security, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Service Delivery & Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with performance, security, and scalability goals.
  • Participate in after-hours deployments and incident response activities as required.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to team members, promoting best practices in cloud automation and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or DevOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform in production environments.
  • Hands on experience with best practices of version control system (git, azure devops, etc) and branching strategy
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Good understanding of networking, security, database concepts and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (eg: Azure DevOps, Bamboo or GitHub Actions).
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • AWS SSM is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, applying strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to extract insights from data to make recommendations to enhance efficiencies and reduce manual intervention.
  • Ability to work independently to deliver project workstreams
