The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet client and internal expectations. This includes gathering requirements, creating Statements of Work (SOWs), planning, execution, closure, and transition to lifecycle management. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of project management methodologies and excellent coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead meetings and gather information from clients and internal teams.
- Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resources, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including vendors and customers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project updates and escalations.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular status reports and risk assessments.
- Facilitate workshops and planning sessions to ensure task execution.
- Collect requirements and prepare pricing recommendations when needed.
- Draft clear and concise Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (required); Spanish proficiency.
- Project Management certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing technology-related projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint – advanced), Power BI or Tableau, and MS Project or similar tools.
- Strong skills in writing requirements and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within LATAM.
- Experience in the banking industry is a strong plus.
