Team Lead and Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (m/f/x)

Your role at Dynatrace

Are you passionate about both software engineering and leadership? As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer and Team Captain, you’ll guide a talented team while actively contributing to our codebase in the field of Application Security - specifically focusing on Security Analytics (threat detection, forensics, and incident response).

Your team will develop automatic detection use cases by leveraging combined security and observability datasets, ingested into Dynatrace Grail. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact in cybersecurity while fostering collaboration and innovation.

What will you do?

• Lead and inspire an agile team of Software Engineers.
• Actively contribute to the codebase using Java, TypeScript and React.
• Foster an open, collaborative team environment and ensure effective communication.
• Mentor and coach team members to support their personal and professional growth.
• Drive team performance, motivation, and collaboration.
• Participate in recruitment activities, including conducting interviews.
• Identify and resolve team challenges to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

What Will Help You Succeed

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong foundation in Java.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a software development environment.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills, with a commitment to fostering growth within your team
• Interest in working with TypeScript and React.
• A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Enthusiasm for the cybersecurity domain and a desire to work on cutting-edge projects.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 65,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience
