Our client is a highly respected and extremely prestigious global leader in the integrated energy and chemical industry.

Currently, they are looking for an IT Analyst to join their dynamic, multicultural organisation in The Hague.

Job Profile for IT Analyst

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Governance:

• Develop and implement internal IT policies, standards and procedures in alignment with IT governance frameworks
• Ensure alignment of IT strategies with business objectives
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks (including Third Party risks)
• Perform regular risk assessments
• Develop and maintain risk management strategies and plans

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST)
• Conduct compliance assessments and prepare reports

Security Awareness:

• Develop cybersecurity training and awareness programs. Track and report on the effectiveness of security awareness programs
• Design and execute phishing simulation campaigns. Analyze results and provide feedback to improve awareness

Contacts External:

• Discuss operational problems and system enhancements frequently with counterparts
• Provide professional assistance, counsel and advice to affiliated companies on IT issues
• Discuss and evaluate with vendors and industry consultants on new computer hardware and software matters
• Contact internal carriers regarding the installation, maintenance and repair of leased international circuits

Contacts Internal:

• Discuss progress, status, issues, solutions, recommendations, etc. daily with IT personnel
• Collaborate with Unit Supervisor and Project Managers on professional advice, guidance and assistance
• Discuss division needs and provide IT support to all departments
• Interact occasionally with Communications staff for the exchange of information on system problems, system enhancements and new computer applications

Candidate Profile for IT Analyst

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of work experience in IT GRC, IT Risk Assessment, IT Security or a comparable field, preferably in a multinational environment
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CISM preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance
