Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within a Data & Analytics transformation program. The goal is to enable a data-driven organization by delivering robust data platforms, high-quality data assets, and impactful data products that empower business users and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of multiple data-related projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, communication strategies, and documentation.
• Manage project budgets exceeding €1M, including forecasting and change control.
• Ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Facilitate clear and consistent communication with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Coordinate with business and IT teams to ensure alignment and progress.
• Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and report regularly.
• Lead project governance activities including SteerCo and status meetings.
• Oversee delivery of data platforms, ingestion pipelines, reporting solutions, and AI/ML initiatives.
• Apply Agile and SAFe methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and standards.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on Data & Analytics.
• Proven track record managing full-cycle SAP and Azure data/BI projects.
• Strong understanding of IT complexity and enterprise data ecosystems.
• Active certification in PM² and/or PMBOK.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL and its application in project environments.
• Experience with Azure data stack and SAP BW/4HANA is a plus.
• Familiarity with domains such as transport planning, HR, finance, marketing, and maintenance is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (Dutch or French at C level, other languages at least B2).
