We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Brussels. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for retail and transactional systems. You will ensure that solutions are aligned with business needs and operational processes, supporting end-to-end delivery and user acceptance.
This is a hybrid role, requiring approximately 2 days per week on-site in Brussels South.
Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
Map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, and QA to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating execution, and validating results with business stakeholders.
Maintain clear traceability between requirements, functional specifications, and testing activities.
Assess change requests and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
Contribute to documentation, release notes, and training materials to support deployment.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in retail, POS, or transactional systems.
Proven skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business documentation.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work across multiple teams and countries.
Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is mandatory.
Conscientious, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a flexible environment.
Experience with POS systems, eCommerce, or retail operations.
Prior involvement in multi-country transformation programs.
Exposure to integration projects with payments, loyalty, or back-office systems.
Familiarity with UAT coordination and process validation.
