Program Manager

The Program Manager leads the delivery of complex strategic programs within the organization, ensuring that all underlying projects contribute effectively to achieving defined business outcomes. This role orchestrates end-to-end execution across multiple departments, aligning initiatives with corporate priorities, regulatory requirements, and financial objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Governance and Delivery Management
  • Define and implement governance structures that enable efficient delivery across multiple projects and contributing teams.
  • Maintain control over program delivery activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and risk management frameworks.
  • Oversee budget, resource allocation, and benefit realization tracking to ensure program value is delivered.


Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Manage senior stakeholders to ensure delivery teams receive clear objectives, requirements, and executive validation.
  • Interface with portfolios, product owners, and business sponsors to keep the program roadmap current, prioritized, and aligned with strategic intent.
  • Coordinate interdependencies, milestones, and key deliverables across all projects within the program.


Performance and Reporting

  • Participate in quarterly reviews, governance sessions, and program health assessments, ensuring outcomes are documented and followed up.
  • Report program progress, risks, and benefits to governance committees and executive sponsors.
  • Serve as the primary interface between enterprise portfolio governance and delivery teams, ensuring transparent communication and effective escalation management.


Operational Scope

  • Oversees all projects and delivery streams contributing to the designated program.
  • Accountable for end-to-end delivery of the program’s intended outcomes, including cost, schedule, scope, and quality.


Vision and Objectives Alignment

  • Maintains focus on the strategic objectives of the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory obligations.
  • Supports and revisits the program’s vision throughout its lifecycle to ensure continued relevance and value creation.


Governance and Reporting

  • Provides regular updates on program performance, risks, and benefits to senior leadership.
  • Ensures adherence to governance standards and contributes to the continuous improvement of portfolio management practices.
  • Co-presents dashboards, risk assessments, and financial overviews to governance bodies as required.


Lifecycle Management

  • Ensures that program features and deliverables are continuously prioritized and refined in collaboration with business leads, technology partners, and risk teams.
  • Manages evolution of the program roadmap, incorporating business value, dependencies, and non-functional requirements.
  • Oversees change management related to scope, funding, or timing, ensuring each change is assessed against its impact on business outcomes and risk exposure.
