We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Back-End Development Intern to join our engineering team. This internship is unpaid but provides the opportunity to sharpen your technical skills, collaborate with experienced developers, and explore potential long-term career growth.

- Location: Remote or Hybrid
- Duration: 3–6 months

As a Back-End Development Intern, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems. You’ll work on building and integrating APIs, managing background tasks, and supporting real-time communication through WebSockets. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
- Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Python API frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django REST Framework)
- Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time data handling
- Experience with Celery for background task management
- Knowledge of Redis for caching and task queues
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Exposure to Docker and Docker Compose
- Understanding of webhooks and asynchronous communication
- Familiarity with web application security best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers
- Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Understanding of unit and integration testing
- Awareness of microservices architecture
- Real-world experience working with production-level backend systems
- One-on-one mentorship from experienced engineers
