Back-End Developer Intern

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Back-End Development Intern to join our engineering team. This internship is unpaid but provides the opportunity to sharpen your technical skills, collaborate with experienced developers, and explore potential long-term career growth.

As a Back-End Development Intern, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend systems. You’ll work on building and integrating APIs, managing background tasks, and supporting real-time communication through WebSockets. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

• Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with Python API frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django REST Framework)
• Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time data handling
• Experience with Celery for background task management
• Knowledge of Redis for caching and task queues
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to Docker and Docker Compose
• Understanding of webhooks and asynchronous communication
• Familiarity with web application security best practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers
• Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Understanding of unit and integration testing
• Awareness of microservices architecture
