HV Substation Engineers

Job Title: HV Substation Engineer (Data Centre Experience)

Location: Finland

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, operate, and maintain high-voltage (HV) substations for data centre facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Finnish and international electrical standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex electrical issues in HV distribution systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on new data centre projects and upgrades.
• Develop maintenance schedules, perform testing, and provide technical documentation.
• Support commissioning and operational activities, ensuring high availability of power systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in HV substation design, operation, and maintenance.
• Experience working in data centre power systems is essential.
• Strong knowledge of electrical protection, switchgear, transformers, and distribution networks.
• Must have the right to work in Finland
