Belidor is building the AI decision‑making engine for U.S. preconstruction, starting with a painful workflow every general contractor faces: bid leveling. We help select the right subcontractors for any project 100× faster, while fitting seamlessly into the tools construction firms already use.

• Founders with deep AI + B2B track records: ex-Deepmind AI product/ B2B GTM experience (scaled B2B from $0 → $10M ARR) and ex‑BCG X Lead Data Scientist (built production AI for industry leaders)

That’s why our mission at Belidor is to accelerate the rate of construction and design 100x by creating the user-friendly intelligence layer for the built world.

For now, we focus on preconstruction: Transforming messy docs into data that is easy to read, analyze and understand to compound learning from past projects so preconstruction teams bid faster and win more.

About the role

• As a Founding Engineer at Belidor, you will own key company outcomes and will have the autonomy to shape design, data, backend, frontend, and customer interactions to deliver them.
• Because we are still at an early stage, you will need to thrive in ambiguity. Setting standards for code, reliability, security, and collaboration for future hires.
• Our experience is rooted in both customer-facing development and product thinking. You should expect to have frequent customer sessions to co-build solutions for our clients’ most pressing problems, while making them scalable so every project makes the next one faster.

Current stack (you’ll help shape it): React, TypeScript, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Render, AWS

What We're Looking For

• Paris‑based (or ready to relocate, we will help). You like speed and the focus of building together in-person.
• Experience building high-impact full-stack applications, ideally in SaaS or AI products, with exposure to our current stack (TypeScript/React, Python/Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, CI/CD, Render/Vercel).
• Value-creation mindset: you care about delivering measurable user impact (time saved, accuracy, fewer misses) and have the empathy to observe how customers work, iterate quickly.
