We're passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences through innovative and high-quality software. To reach our next goals, we're looking for a QA Engineer to work on our mobile app from Hamburg (Germany).
You'll be the quality champion behind our mobile app - making sure everything we ship on iOS and Android feels fast, smooth, and reliable. You'll work hand in hand with developers, designers, and product managers, and have the chance to shape our mobile automation setup if you're keen and have prior experience.
Location:
Hybrid with at least one weekly in-person meeting in Hamburg, Germany. Unfortunately, relocation support is not available at this time.
Who we're looking for:
- Your background: Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong background in mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms, and a solid understanding of Agile practices and QA methodologies
- Your passion: You have a solid understanding of various software QA methodologies and consistently champion quality across the product lifecycle
- Your skills: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as XCTest and Espresso, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Communication: Excellent analytical and communication skills in English, with proven experience using bug tracking tools like Jira and Trello
- Bonus points: Familiarity with Swift and Kotlin is desirable, and experience managing mobile app releases on the App Store and Google Play is a plus
Your responsibilities:
- Own the quality of our mobile app by defining, executing, and improving testing strategies that keep quality high and delivery fast
- Perform thorough manual and exploratory testing on iOS and Android, collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality releases
- Build and maintain automated tests using XCTest and Espresso, supporting continuous delivery through CI/CD pipelines
- Validate and support app releases, ensuring smooth submission and maintenance on the App Store and Google Play
- Continuously evolve our QA practices by sharing insights, introducing new tools, and fostering a strong culture of quality across the team
- 👩🏼💻Flexibility & Teamwork: We love our hybrid setup and meet to work on-site at least 1 day/week, with Wednesdays as the designated in-office day. While Wednesday is the minimum, we recommend spending 2 (or more) days in the office each week.
