How You Create Impact
You won’t just design a platform – you’ll create a lever for systemic change.
As a Digital Product Designer, you’ll further develop the design strategy of our SaaS solution – from user experience to visual identity. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and users, making complex topics intuitive, inspiring, and action-oriented.
POSITION KEY FACTS
- Location: Hybrid from our Potsdam office, our Berlin location, or remotely from home. Your place of residence must be in Berlin or Brandenburg.
- Scope: Part-time position, 20 hours per week, permanent.
- Flexible working hours to match your personal situation (e.g., family), with the option to increase to full-time later.
- Start: From December 1, 2025
- Salary: Transparent salary system based on experience + virtual company shares
- Vacation: 30 days (based on full-time employment)
Product Design & UX/UI
- Requirements Analysis & Design: Translate user and business requirements into clear design solutions.
- Design System & Library: Maintain and evolve our existing design system to ensure consistency and efficiency (Figma).
- Collaboration with the Development Team: Work closely with frontend developers (TypeScript, Material UI) for accurate implementation of your designs.
- Prototyping, Testing & Data-Driven Design: Create clickable prototypes, conduct usability tests, and interpret user feedback and analytics to iteratively improve the user experience.
- Company Identity: Develop our corporate identity and ensure its consistent application across all media.
- Website & Social Media Visuals: Enhance our digital presence on the website and social media channels.
- Graphics & Sharepics: Create eye-catching sharepics for social media and inspiring graphics and illustrations
- Presentations: Design appealing presentation templates and visuals for internal use, clients, and stakeholders.
“MUST-HAVES”
- At least 5+ years of experience in UX/UI & product design and graphic design for corporate identity and sharepics
- SaaS experience: You understand B2B platform user needs (e.g., different roles, user journeys)
- AI/ML: You use AI/ML tools purposefully in design and creation workflows and are experienced with common tools
- Technical understanding: You can communicate effectively with developers
- Tools: Figma (required), Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools (Framer, ProtoPie), Jira, AI/ML tools
- Languages: Fluent in German and English (our team is international)
- Impact-driven: You design not just for aesthetics, but for impact.
- Startup-ready: Hands-on, comfortable with “imperfect” MVP solutions, quick learner.
- Getting-things-done: Solution-oriented and focused on execution.
- Collaborative: You see design as a team sport – whether with devs, management, or users.
- Experience with sustainability topics (e.g., ESG)
- Knowledge of frontend development (React, Vue.js) or no-code tools (Webflow)
- Startup experience (Seed/Series A), ideally in the impact sector
