A leading international investment management firm has recently opened a new office in Dublin and is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join its growing technology team. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technology directly supports global investment decisions and portfolio operations.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining systems that support trading, risk management, and analytics platforms. The role involves close collaboration with teams across technology and investment functions to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain resilient .NET applications supporting high-performance data workflows.
- Partner with global stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Drive continuous improvements in system scalability, performance, and automation.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle — design, coding, testing, and deployment.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years’ experience in software engineering, ideally within financial services
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, with a solid grasp of multithreading, event-driven systems, and modern design patterns.
- Good understanding of data structures and large-scale data processing.
- Experience with WPF or similar frameworks is an advantage.
- Bonus points for Python, machine learning, or cloud technologies
- A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and collaborative approach.
