Job Description

Senior Product Manager at Randstad Global [Europe]

Location: Remote Europe

About – Randstad’s Digital Marketplace

We are building the future of work for blue collar talent. At Randstad, this is more than digitizing staffing. We are creating a global, mobile-first platform where finding your next shift feels as easy as booking a ride or ordering a pizza.

Our digital marketplace connects talent and employers in 38 countries, removing friction, unlocking flexibility, and enabling growth. Whether you want stable weekly hours or prefer to decide each day where to work, Randstad puts you in control of your working life.

Behind the scenes, we bring together global scale and local insight. With smart matching, real-time availability, and continuous learning, we empower both talent and clients to thrive.

This is not a pilot. This is not legacy tech. This is Randstad going all in on product. If you are ready to help build the most human digital work platform in the world, we would love to have you with us.

What we expect from Senior Product Managers

Senior Product Managers at Randstad imagine the ideal experience for our talent and clients. They think beyond features and take full ownership of a product area that touches thousands of people every day. We see them as CEOs of their product experience, responsible for making it valuable, scalable and inspiring to use.

In this role, strategy and execution come together. You shape product vision through deep user understanding, data and market insight. You translate that vision into clear priorities and lead teams to deliver outcomes that matter.

You are both the voice of the user and a trusted partner to the business. You collaborate with engineering, design, operations and local markets to accelerate progress. You guide discovery efforts, remove blockers, and bring clarity in complexity.

Senior Product Managers lead by example. You mentor others, raise the bar for quality and impact, and help focus the team on what truly matters. You move between high level thinking and hands on delivery with ease. You bring energy, ownership and the ability to turn ideas into real, working solutions.

This is a role for product leaders who are ready to shape the future of work, one shift at a time.

The Difference You Will Make

We are transforming our talent app from a transactional tool into a product with a strong functional and emotional experience. As a Senior Product Manager in the discovery space, you will lead this shift.

Your team helps talent find their next best shift, whether they are new to our platform or already part of our pool. This journey is central to our marketplace and deeply connected to the client side. We are looking for product leaders with a clear vision of what great UX looks like. You know how to simplify complexity, inspire users, and create journeys that drive both confidence and action.

This is not just about finding work. It is about helping people move forward, one shift at a time.

Responsibilities

User centricity

  • Discovery: Lead product discovery through user research, data and market insights to understand the needs of both talent and clients
  • Measure impact: Use clear metrics to track success and improve the experience based on insights and feedback
  • Simplification: Turn complex marketplace dynamics into simple and intuitive user journeys that improve supply-demand balance
  • Champion the user: Stay close to what users really need. Build experiences that are intuitive, valuable and trusted

Vision and strategy

  • Ownership: Define and champion the product vision for the full Discovery experience in the talent app. Translate this into a clear roadmap that aligns with company goals
  • Prioritization: Balance long-term platform impact with short-term delivery by making clear and consistent decisions
  • Strategy: Develop a bold but realistic product strategy that inspires teams and moves the needle

People leadership

  • Stakeholder management: Align senior stakeholders across design, tech, data, marketing, commercial and operations. Act as thought partner to leadership and bring others with you
  • Team: Guide, support and challenge product managers and peers across disciplines. Help raise the quality of product thinking, execution and culture
  • Functional leadership: While you don’t have direct reports, you are expected to lead through influence. Drive focus, raise ambition and create clarity across teams

Execution

  • Delivery: Drive the roadmap that helps talent find their next best shift with ease, confidence and relevance
  • GTM: Work with local markets, client teams and operations to ensure the product delivers value and is adopted at scale
  • Orchestration: Ensure teams stay aligned from vision to delivery. Bring pace, direction and connection to the work
  • What You’ll Bring

    • 8+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a demonstrable track record of launching and scaling successful, user-centric digital products.
    • Proven experience setting the strategic direction for a complex product portfolio or ecosystem, not just a single product or feature area.
    • Proven track record of building user-facing digital products that balance functional and emotional experience
    • Strong background in product discovery, including user research, data analysis and journey mapping
    • Exceptional ability in functional leadership and influencing without authority. You excel at leading, mentoring, and motivating cross-functional teams where members report into different domains.
    • Clear experience driving execution at scale, working closely with engineering, design and business teams
    • Deep understanding of what makes great UX, with the ability to partner closely with designers to shape inspiring experiences
    • Experience working in or with marketplaces, platforms, or other multi-sided ecosystems is a strong plus
    • Skilled in turning complex problems into simple, user-focused solutions
    • Mastery of stakeholder management, with the communication skills and executive presence to effectively advise, direct, and coordinate with senior leaders across a large organization.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, technology, design or related)
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as this is our main working language across teams

If you’re excited about this role, but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway.

How We Will Take Care of You

    • Real opportunities to learn, grow and shape your career in a global environment
    • A team of great people who want you to succeed
    • A culture where differences are understood, valued and celebrated
