Freelance UX/UI Designer

My client is looking for a Freelance Senior UX/UI Designer to help shape intuitive, data-rich interfaces for decision-support and planning applications used across industries like Energy, Pharma, and FMCG.

This isn’t a marketing or website design role - it’s about turning complex analytical processes into clear, usable workflows that help people make confident, data-backed decisions.

You’ll work with a team to design desktop applications that visualise complex models, workflows, and insights.

Your background:

• 7–10+ years of experience designing data-heavy web applications (e.g., BI tools, dashboards, or decision-support systems).
• Strong understanding of information architecture and workflow design.
• Proven skills in data visualisation and interface clarity.
• Experience collaborating with developers and maintaining design systems (Figma, Storybook).
• Ideally experience in sectors with high data volume - such as oil & gas, pharma, manufacturing, or logistics.

Practical details:

• Freelance contract: 2–3 days per week
• On-site: 1–2 days per week in Zuid-Holland (hybrid setup)
• Days: Ideally non-consecutive (e.g., Mon + Wed or Tue + Thu)
• Start: Immediate / Flexible
• Duration: ~3 months, strong potential for extension
