Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain / Purchasing to build and lead a high-performing team across three locations.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on and forward-thinking, with deep experience in both operational and strategic procurement, international logistics, and cross-functional leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a growing team (initially 2 direct reports) across three sites
  • Build and optimize supply chain and procurement processes and structures
  • Act as main point of contact for internal departments (production, sales, finance, etc.)
  • Oversee and improve international logistics, customs, and export/import compliance
  • Implement and manage Category Management strategies
  • Drive both strategic and operational purchasing.
  • Manage and expand supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers.
  • Ensure supply chain efficiency and cost control while maintaining high quality standards.


Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in Supply Chain and Purchasing.
  • Strong background in customs and foreign trade.
  • Hands-on mentality with ability to implement from scratch.
  • Expertise in both strategic and operational procurement.
  • Solid knowledge in Category Management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier management.
  • Fluency in English, German and/ or Slovenien.
  • Experience in multi-site coordination is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
