Java Software developer for Digital innovation Hub
Festo is a Global leader Engineering firm with over 20k employees in XX countries . We create and develop highly specialized technical tools for several applications, such as Industrial Automation, Chemical depuration, Food & Beverage processing, 3d Modelling,etc.
Working in the Digital Hub, you will act as a catalyst of change leading key digital transformation projects across the company. As part of the hub you will be involved in driving key strategic initiatives within eCommerce, product configuration, Analytics and Digital Sales innovation and defining the digital agenda, across regions, categories and brands.

Role Description
- Develop and support powerful single-page web applications for the selection and simulation of our client's products and product combinations.
- Create automated software tests and documentation.
- Coordinate and align requirements with the business units and with internal and external customers.
- Support and collaborate with an agile team.
- Degree in information technology.
- Practical experience coding backends with Java and Spring Boot.
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.
- Independent and structured way of working and holistic thinking.
- Good written and spoken English skills round off your profile.
- Spanish language skills are valued but nor required.
- Project experience with current frameworks and technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, React.js and modern build tools NPM/Webpack is a really nice plus!
