At Palatin, we’re hiring for a Golang Developer. This is a stable, long-term role with real influence on system evolution, scalability, and backend design within an international digital platform.

• Location: Barcelona (hybrid work model)
• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Salary: Up to €65K depending on experience

As part of the backend engineering team, you’ll help design robust services supporting real-time processing and high-availability systems. You’ll work closely with product, QA, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality, scalable services in a modern cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend services in Golang, focusing on low-latency and scalability.
• Design modular services that connect internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Operate in a cross-functional agile team with strong QA and DevOps collaboration.
• Apply software best practices: code reviews, testing, and CI/CD automation.
• Use modern infrastructure based on containers and cloud services, with engineering ownership and flexibility.

What we’re looking for:

• Solid Golang experience and strong development fundamentals.
• Previous work on scalable architectures and high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with messaging systems, REST APIs, and distributed cloud services (AWS or similar).
• Clean, maintainable code and collaborative mindset.
• English proficiency for working in international teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and distributed system design.
• Understanding of event-driven systems and backend scalability patterns.
• Awareness of system reliability, cost efficiency, and cloud security.
